Lou Yau Kee's Kai Si Hor Fun 鸡丝河粉

This Lou Yau Kee 老友记 serves quite a nice 鸡丝河粉 (Shredded Chicken Noodle) at Mei Sin Coffee Shop in Imbi.
" Yo, Buddy! I'd like to have a kon lou (dry) kai si hor fun". ( dry shredded chicken noodle)
Here comes my dry noodle topped with shredded chicken, green onion and lots of ginger paste. It's a simple dish but it is indeed satisfying to eat. The rice noodle is smooth and the soy sauce is just nice- not salty and not too sweet either. -RM4.50
If the kai Si Hor Fun is no way near of filling up your stomach, you can order a plate of "Char Kuey Teow" from this stall. They serve quite a decent fried kuey teow as well. But today my companion ordered a plate of "Chau Tong Fun"(fried glass noodle) from them. It was equally good. - RM 4.50
Both stalls that I mentioned only open during day time even though the coffee shop may open for business at night. It's packed with office workers during lunch time. Restaurant Mei Sin is located in Medan Imbi, Off Jalan Imbi, Kuala Lumpur. Location map.
