A lunch invitation brought me to Brussels Beer Cafe at Jaya One, where I had never set foot in since it opened years ago. There are a few nice restaurants at Jaya One and I think I'd come back to try the rest whenever I have the chance.
Their thick food menu features traditional Belgian favorites like 'Moules-Frite', Mussels & Chips, 'Crouquettes', 'Belgian Meatball' and 'blinde finches' with main courses served with 'Stoemp', a Belgian mashed potato and sweet treats like Belgian Waffles. Many of the dishes prepared with beer as a main ingredient and most is a perfect compliment with specific style beers.Their main courses starts from RM 28.00 - RM 38.00...
But today we only got to try their set lunch at RM15 nett. Different day different dish. So just check out the dishes above to see which you prefer and go on that particular day... or you may just go everyday to try every dish that they offer. The set comes with a glass of soft drink or ice lemon tea and salad.

I found that the Dory Fish was a bit soggy to my liking. It would be better if they deep-fried the fish with batter. If they had to prepare it in this way, Salmon would be a good choice. But hey, what do you expect from RM 15.00?
Pasta of the day...
Today they offered Sausage Pasta... Actually it was a bit dry... but not a major problem until it could affect the whole combination of this dish. The mushroom, the sausage and the cheese really made it up for the shortcoming. It was delicious!
