A Banquet Fits For VVIP

The very first time to taste the sea urchin. It was prepared by steaming with egg. It tastes liked pudding but without any flavour. Can’t understand why so many people are desperate for it especially whenever there was a seafood programs showed on TV. Maybe it should be eaten raw.

We hardly touched on the shrimps. Here we are normally using it to fry veges as the size is more suitable to do so than eating it on its own. I think I tried only 2 of this shrimp that night. Actually it was quite sweet but we rather spend more time on other stuff like abalones, scallops and many more which really hard to recall it now. Altogether 23 dishes! You name it, for seafood we have fish, oysters, scallops, sea cucumber, abalones. For meat, we have pork, duck, chicken, lamb. Well, without photos it is hard to recall every one of the dishes and how it taste like now.

The eel is the only other photo that I managed to take at that night. Not that I forgot to take but it’s just that the other dishes were finished up very fast. The eels, they found it a bit ‘ geli’ and the strimps are troublesome to peel. so they were left there for me to shoot. Actually the eel is not cheap. A plate like this cost about RMB 200.
